Be ready for the unexpected

Ready when every second counts.

Rollover

If the seat belt buckle jams, use the guarded cutter to cut the belt.

Rising water

If the doors will not open, use the striker on a tempered side window. It cannot break laminated glass.

Vehicle fire

When the doors are blocked, break a tempered side window to create an exit.

Icy conditions

If a door is jammed, a tempered side window provides another exit.

Important compatibility note

Tempered side glass only.

The striker breaks tempered side windows. It cannot break laminated glass, including laminated side windows and windshields. Check your vehicle's window markings so you know which side windows are tempered.

Keep the tool secured within reach of the occupants, and read the included manual before an emergency.

Tempered side windows: yes.
Laminated glass: no.

Questions

Good to know

Does it work on all car windows?

No. It breaks tempered side-window glass, but not laminated glass or windshields.

How many should I buy?

Two per car: one on your keys and one kept within reach inside the vehicle.

Can I open the doors after the car fills with water?

Do not wait for the cabin to fill. Water pressure can hold the doors shut until it is nearly full. Release your seat belt, lower or break a tempered side window early, and get out quickly.

How do I know the type of glass in my car?

Look for “TEMPERED” or “LAMINATED” in the lower corner of the window. If there is no label, lower the window and inspect its top edge: tempered glass appears as one layer, while laminated glass has two layers with a plastic layer between them.

Tempered glass is one layer and breaks into small pieces; laminated glass has a plastic interlayer and stays together when cracked
This striker breaks tempered side glass, not laminated glass.
Is it reusable?

Yes. The spring-loaded striker resets after each press, and the guarded blade can be used again. The striking mechanism is rated for 10,000+ uses.

What comes in the box?

One window breaker with key ring in your selected color, one color box, one blister tray, and one user manual.

How do I remove the safety cap?

Slide or pull off the translucent cap in one motion to expose the guarded cutter. Familiarize yourself with the cap before an emergency.

Keep the essentials within reach.

Choose your color above, keep the tool within reach, and identify the tempered side windows in your vehicle.
